Australian Civil Society Organisations: invitation to assess OGP performance

by Peter Timmins

The Open Government Partnership, now 70 strong, has commissioned an independent organization to conduct an evaluation of its performance to date. This evaluation will reflect on the OGP experience of the past five years, help to understand its successes and failures, and refresh OGP’s strategy going forward.

DPMG, a unit of the University of Southern California has been selected to carry out the evaluation. DPMG are now conducting a survey in fifteen OGP participating countries. The survey is brief, and requires only ten minutes or so to fill out. It seeks information on participants’ experiences in working with OGP and their views of its effectiveness in advancing the goals of open government.

The survey link is posted below. Instructions for completing the survey are provided, along with a description of how the evaluation team will be using the survey data.

Please note that the identities of those completing the survey will be kept confidential. Only the DPMG team will have access to the survey responses.

The team must receive the survey responses by October 20th in order to incorporate them into the Review.
