National Integrity Commission-where does the government stand?
Throughout the consultations on the OGP since December 2015, those participating have put a national integrity commission high on the list of open government reforms.The government in adopting commitments in the first and second plan committed to “consider and assess all options for strengthening the national anti-corruption framework’ but nothing concrete or specific.
Independent MP Cathy McGowan is today moving adoption of a bill to establish a commission, an early tester for the government now in minority in the House of Representatives. Scan to 10.30 on this video
